About Gina (she/ they)

I am named after my bisabuela, Georgina, which means “earth-worker”. I am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist based in New York. I work with driven individuals seeking answers to the hard questions. I believe you are already whole. I graduated from Nazareth College in 2018 with an MS in Creative Arts Therapy: Art Therapy.

I am a demifluid, mixed-race, second generation, reclaimer. I am a survivor by nature, an explorer at heart, and a recovering people-pleaser. I am a lover of knowledge and getting my hands dirty; I have always been a demonstrative learner. I’ve never set foot into a room that I wasn’t led to by intuition. That being said, I have found myself navigating stormy seas, on more than one occasion.  I am always on a journey of reclamation of mind, body, ancestry, and soul and I actively pursue modalities that unite all four. I love this work because it affords me the opportunity to help others come home to themselves. It allows me to show people that they do not need to hide the parts of them that have been sleeping for years, just waiting to be noticed and loved. I never ask my clients to do something I haven’t also done myself. I recognize the delicate nature of the journey you are on and want to honor that in whichever way you see fit— you are the expert on yourself. You already have your compass. Proceed with curiosity.
